Ja hoor dit is gewoon mogelijk, alleen niet in de gratis versie.
Je gebruikt hiervoor de betaalde versie in combinatie met de nieuwe Product add-on. Deze is nog wel in ontwikkeling, maar de basis staat en werkt gewoon prima.
De komende weken zullen we daar wel wat verbeteringen in gaan aanbrengen.
Helaas mag ik hier geen verdere reclame maken voor de PRO plugins 😉

Reclame maken hoeft niet. Ik geloof graag dat het werkt. Wel maak ik me enige zorgen over de ontwikkelingen m.b.t. DYMO en Chrome. Als de koppeling met externe drivers niet meer werkt, valt het hele plaatje op z’n gat.
Ik moet de winkeleigenaar nog even overtuigen van de noodzaak om wat geld uit te geven maar dat zal geen probleem zijn.

Bart, werkt je DYMO plugin nu met alle browsers of speelt dat puntje nog dat chrome een koppeling gaat uitfaseren? Is er een workaround? De baas wil wat zekerheid dat het in de toekomst wel blijft werken voordat ik mag bestellen…

Momenteel zijn ze bij DYMO nog volop in ontwikkeling, maar de vooruitzichten zijn zeer positief. Momenteel zijn we al aan het BETA testen.

I have the exact same question – We need to print Tag label information that will be attached to the physical product (price – sku# – price cost code – etc…). We would used the Dymo LW Price Tag Labels 15/16″ x 7/8″.
Can your extension work for us? If not out of the box could you develop it?

Product labels are not possible in the FREE version of the plugin.

Tired of waiting for DYMO we wrote an extention to our homebrew shop plugin. This plugin makes the coupling between a rather simple set of db tables with our 10.000+ products and the WooCommerce CSV import plugin. Our plugin can select the products we want visible in the site, among other things. (It creates a .csv file which ready to chew bij the Woo Import plugin.
Now back to the original question:
Another part of our pluging does the label writing. It waits for a scan with a handheld barcode scanner (or typed in UPC/EAN), looks up the product details in our product tabel (would need to be modified to fetch data from Woo tables).
Once found a small piece of js sends of the data to the DYMO software. This needs the newest DYMO stuff.The label layout was composed with the DYMO tool and the label config file was copied to a location in the plugin where it is read bij the plugin.
To be able to switch between several is not supported but not impossible. Also barcodes can be printed.
The fun is that this is all client side.On the client (most of the time a Windows PC) must have the DYMO software/driver installed and a LW attached.
I’m not in a position to do the programming for you but my code is available to study.

However all what Esp5466 needs is already possible with our plugin, so I think a custom solution is not necessary for him.

A predictable reply. But indeed your plugin with the extension should be more than usefull for esp5466. I use your plugins too.
It is just that we want to scan incoming products and print a shelf label for them before the product is loaded into the site. In the workflow used in the store, the product is not yet in the WP/Woo tables but it is already in the shop inventory table.
Specific problem we had was barcode printing. DYMO want to calculate the check digit by itself. To print a EAN-13 barcode, only the first 12 digits must be given. We solved these 2 issues with our own piece of code.
For all standard situations WooCommerce DYMO Print will do the trick and much more.Sorry, no more advertizing here any more 😉
