Hi, I’m trying to do my first basic product import using the standard import that WooCommerce comes with but when I upload my csv, on the column mapping step, it looks like this instead of how it should look which is like this

I’m using this csv file that I got from here.

And this is what my import file looks like, most of my fields are blank because I don’t need them.

This is my first time trying this process and it seems pretty straight forward but I’m not sure how to fix or deal with the strange column mapping step issue. I tried selecting various map to options from the drop down menu but the products all import with the name “product” and my prices aren’t there etc so it’s not mapping correctly which makes sense given what it looks like in my first screenshot.

This must be a common problem because I’m not trying to do anything unusual or special. Does anyone have an idea of what the problem is or how I can correct this?

    Hi there,

    Can you try the following.
Create a simple product manually in WooCommerce.
Export it to a CSV file.

Modify the CSV file and import it back in.

    Does that change anything?
