Just updated WordPress this morning, to 4.5, and all of a sudden all my images and thumbnails on product pages are missing.

so volunteers in the forum can assist:

1-please post a link to at least 1 page that shows the problem (not a screenshot)
    2-which theme is installed
    3-which plugins are installed

I am running into the same thing for all of my images below the hero on my home page. They have an css animation on them and they’ll load momentarily and then disappear. I can still select the blank areas in Chrome with Inspect Element and “select” them.

    2. Prodo
    3. Plugins: Prodo Theme Features, Redux Framework, WordPress Importer, Limit Login Attempts

Also, if I check the site on iPhone or iPad the images render correctly. There they display without an animation so my guess it is something to do with today’s update and css animations on images.

Note: I restored website to pre WP 4.5 and it works fine. If you’d like to test to troubleshoot, let me know and I’ll put it back to 4.5.

For an explanation of my problem:
    Post: images-not-showing-after-host-transfer

This is a client’s website, so if a solution isn’t discovered today, I may have to just rebuild the site from scratch.

    1. tharsosinc.com/about-us There should be 3 pictures under the Our Team heading. Also, on the Projects and Contact Us pages.

    2. Divi Theme with Child Theme

    3. Akismet, WP Super Cache, both deactivated

I just reverted back to using 4.4.2 until it is fixed…and everything is working fine!

Connected with my theme developer. Confirmed the image loading issue for my theme is related to the .js syntax issue as mentioned here under jQuery 1.12 problems: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/read-this-first-wordpress-45-master-list?replies=6

Okay, I switched to the twenty fifteen theme and the website really becomes messed up. Instead of a header, I get:
    [et_pb_section admin_label=”Section” fullwidth=”on” specialty=”off” transparent_background=”off” background_color=”#878177″ allow_player_pause=”off” inner_shadow=”off” parallax=”off” parallax_method=”off” padding_mobile=”off” make_fullwidth=”off” use_custom_width=”off” width_unit=”on” make_equal=”off” use_custom_gutter=”off”][et_pb_fullwidth_header admin_label=”Fullwidth Header” title=”About Tharsos Inc.” background_layout=”dark” text_orientation=”left” header_fullscreen=”off” header_scroll_down=”off” background_color=”#878177″ parallax=”off” parallax_method=”off” content_orientation=”center” image_orientation=”center” custom_button_one=”off” button_one_letter_spacing=”0″ button_one_use_icon=”default” button_one_icon_placement=”right” button_one_on_hover=”on” button_one_letter_spacing_hover=”0″ custom_button_two=”off” button_two_letter_spacing=”0″ button_two_use_icon=”default” button_two_icon_placement=”right” button_two_on_hover=”on” button_two_letter_spacing_hover=”0″]

Instead of a photo, I get:
    [/et_pb_text][/et_pb_column][/et_pb_row][et_pb_row admin_label=”Row”][et_pb_column type=”1_3″][et_pb_team_member admin_label=”Person” name=”Michael Lopez” position=”Project Manager/CEO” image_url=”http://tharsosinc.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/09/michael-lopez.jpg” animation=”left” background_layout=”light” use_border_color=”off” border_color=”#ffffff” border_style=”solid”]

Those are shortcodes used in your previous theme. Your current theme doesn’t know what to do with them so it displays the code.

I downloaded the latest version of the Divi theme and upgraded my theme and the problem is now fixed.

I posted this a couple of weeks ago and am not clear if there was any fix to the missing images issue for WordPress 4.5?
