    Hello!

    I imported 2700 products, everything is ok, the fields are fine, but I also imported the Date field, the date I didn’t have to import it, I thought the day would be the day of the import. 19 .05.

    Now all the products import date,appear with the date imported in CSV in field Date_upd.

    How could I delete or modify the Data Field to 19.05.2020, ?
    IMPORTED FIELDS ARE:
    manufacturer_name supplier_id supplier_reference manufacturer_id location height width weight depth on_sale reference ean13 active date_upd

    I didn’t import product_id, because it happened to me to write over the existing ones, otherwise I have the fields above, including EAN.

    I tried with 4 products, to import with the date modified by me in the Date_upd column, but it writes new products not the same name, although before Mapping, I selected to write over any existing ID.

    Existing products are identified by their SKUs / IDs. If this option is not selected and if a product with the same ID / SKU is found in the CSV, that product will not be imported.

    That’s what I checked before importing

    Hi @moldenerg,

    You’ll want to export your products to a CSV file, make the relevant updates, and then re-import the CSV file making sure to tick the Update Existing Products checkbox so that the products are updated instead of new products being created.

    The documentation here covers what you need to know – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/product-csv-importer-exporter/#section-6

    I just stated i imported them Again with Update Existing Products and IT DOUBLES THEM.

    I have EAN, titles etc , just no id imported

    What is the logic of exporting all of my products and how impossible is to find the ones imported recently (as date is erronated)? I have the same import file, it should work either with DAte not imported at Mapping, of with DAte changed.
    It does not

    @moldenerg,

    When you’re trying to update existing products, you MUST have either an ID or SKU for the product in the CSV document.

    If there’s no ID or SKU, the produced will be created again. You need the ID or SKU to tell the system that this is an existing product and you want to make an update to it.

    As I mentioned before, you need to export your products to a CSV, fix the dates in the CSV and then re-import.

    @moldenerg,

    We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
