Support » Plugin: WooCommerce » Product Gallery Images too big after update

  • Hello

    After a recent major WooCommerce-Update, the gallery image of a product suddenly are displayed the same size as the main product image. Before, they where half the size and grouped themselves neatly under the main product image.

    I tried to fix this with CSS classes, but all the images, main product and gallery, have exactly the same css classes and html structure.

    How can I get the gallery images small again?

    Here is an example of how it should not look, the gallery images are way too big and just extend downwards instead of grouping horizontally:

    Thanks for your help!
    Best Regards,

  • To exclude the first one in an otherwise identical list of classes, use:

    .woocommerce-product-gallery__image:not(:first-child) img {

    It may not work for older browsers.

    I too am having this issue. The solution from @lorro fixed the size issue but they still extend vertically. It is not utilizing the new gallery functions of Woocommerce 3.0 and I’m using the most recent version of Canvas which they say is compatible.

    Please post a link to a relevant page.

    I resolved the issue. In my case it was related to a setting in my cache plugin (WP Rocket) that was using JS minification. I turned it off and issue resolved.
