# Product features

 * I need to add products to my shopping cart and automatically add product features
   or characteristics, like this
 * Product: HUMAN HAIR WIG
 * Characteristics:
    – Pure human hair – Heat and iron safe – not bleached – can
   be curled
 * I dont want to type this manually every time in the descriptions.
 * Is there any plugin to add this characteristics or features automatically and
   the do a custom search of products using these characteristics?
 * Is that what tags are for? I dont understand
 * Can I add easy font icons to tags?
 * Thanks

 * If the `characteristics` you are referring to are attributes of a variable product,
   then you can create a custom URL to add the product to the cart. This process
   is explained in the following post (you’ll want to use the one that explains 
   how to do this with Variable Products):
