    Hello!

    I am soon ready to open my webstore but WordPress and Woocommerce and my theme, XClean are causing constant headache with new problems. Is there anyone who could help me? I would appreciate it so much! Thank you!

    The first problem appeared suddenly today. I noticed that for some reason my shop was showing “categories” on the shop page. It was not there earlier and I have not created any category because I don’t have any. They are just lamps and I don’t want any category there at all.

    Is there any way to get rid of it? Thank you!

    The second problem is that I have some prodcuts that have really short names, like “Boy”, “Fan” etc. The short names do not allign under the picture but next to it and it looks just really horrible and unprofessional.

    Is there any way to get around this problem? Thank you!

    I appreciate all the help because I am not a code professional and I do not intend to become one. I just manufacture lighting fixtures! Thank you!

  • 2nd problem is a padding problem

    input this into your custom css, it should resolve your issue

    .products li a{padding:5px}

    1st problem seems like it was to do with the last woocommerce update (which many had to rollback to previous version) even myself I had the same problem with 1 of the websites I am developer on where the theme uses custom woocommerce templates to overide, apparently the newest version of woocommerce addressses this problem and gives backward compatabilty with out of date overide templates (within theme files), I have not updated as of yet on the website I had problems with on last update, hence being here to check what problems exist on this newest update (from 6 hours ago).

    The latest update, 3.3.1, has been quite smooth. Would recommend updating.

    It should help solve your first issue with categories showing on the shop page. Unless it is configured to do that at Appearance > Customize > WooCommerce.

    Thank you b2nmusic and Caleb Burks for your answers!

    The first problem is solved and the names show nicely now.

    With the second problem I am still completely lost. I tried to compare the the templates like but I am not a coder so I have to give up that task. It was too complicated.

    Is there any other way? I have the latest version of Woocommerce.

    Thank you!
