Product Categories Widget – Only Show Children

    This widget has an option :

    Only show children for the current category

    I would like to use this option in the WooCommerce Sidebar on a category page, but each time I try I see all parents and all sub’s, not just the sub’s for the current category.

    Any ideas on how to resolve?

    Or am I trying something that can’t be done?

    Guidance either way would be greatly appreciated.

    On further investigation I found that this issue only exists on 2.1.6, and with 2.1.5 the problem doesn’t manifest.
