Product categories + products disappeared

Hi all,
I need your help.
My product categories and products have disappeared, and this is not the first time. However, the products pulled various categories to build the home page remained.
Then, after a few minutes, everything then returned. This probably the 3rd time it has occurred. All product categories showed (0)but a while the site then returned to normal.
What is actually happening? Please, your help counts! Anyone with similar experiences? Would you mind to share how your case was resolved?

Hello,
As a first step, could you please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select “Get system report” and then “Copy for support”. Once you’ve done that, paste it here in your response.

I’m not seeing anything particular on your System Status Report that may be causing this strange behavior. You’re running updated versions of WordPress and WooCommerce. Also, your database is showing data for product categories and all other custom taxonomies.
This kind of problem is usually caused by a conflict with your theme or with another plugin. I’d suggest installing a plugin called WP Staging to create a duplicate/staging site with a few clicks. Then, you could perform a full conflict test on your staging site:
- Temporarily switch your theme to Storefront
- Disable all plugins except for WooCommerce
- Repeat the action that is causing the problem
If you’re not seeing the same behavior after completing the conflict test, then you know the problem was with the plugins and/or theme you deactivated.
Reactivate the theme first and check again. Then, go on and reactivate your other plugins one by one, testing after each, until you find the one causing conflict.

Once you have identified the culprit on your staging site and disabled the tool/plugin that is causing trouble and everything is working properly, it is recommended that you make the changes on your production site as well.
Don’t forget to backup your site content and database before making any changes.
