Hi Lawrence

I have a woocommerce setup which is using the extra product options plugin by themehigh but I can’t get them to display on the receipt.

ThemeHigh stores the data using wc_get_order_item_meta($item_id, $field_name, true).

Do you have suggestion of what I could put in the order-handler file to get this to display?

Hi

This is a feature that I’m adding at the moment. You might want to test the sample from https://vault.star-emea.com/s/FCaPDGG3C5A4ssr which Includes support for printing item meta data. I’ve tested it with other, similar Addon plugins.

Thanks for that. I’ve tried to use the version you have attached above but it doesn’t print the product add-ons. I’m using the last version of woocommerce addon 3.0.36.

Are you the same as the original poster on this thread? I think your case is different, and using a different plugin right?

If you are using the “WooCommerce Product Add-ons” by WooCommerce, then that has been specifically tested with this version of the plugin, it definitely should be working. Please check the “Star CloudPRNT for WooCommerce” settings page. In particular, the “Print item meta-data, such as variations, addons etc.” option should be enabled.

If this doesn’t help, then please let me know where you are based so that I can pass you to the right direct support channel (if you are UK/EU then please use support@star-emea.com) so that we can get you working as quickly as possible.
If the sample plugin really is not working correctly on your site, then we can provide an alternative printing method.

Hi Lawrence,

I installed the sample test version as you suggested and it worked fine for a few days but it suddenly stopped and is no longer printing the addons. Do you have any other suggestions or do you know if anything my client may be doing that is causing it to stop working?

Hi Lawrence

I contacted star support for their hosted email solution for using the Star CloudPRNT in combination with product add-ons and opening hours. They made me an email address on which I can email order receipts to print them on my printer.

This is working great, but I need some more information on how to use a buzzer.
Star support isn’t responding to emails for months now, so I’m looking to use this plugin again. This is the only problem we are facing right now.

With this plugin: is it possible now to customize the receipt with:
– opening hours information (hour picked by client)
– product addons chosen by client

– use a buzzer?
