# Processing PDF keep this window open

 * I have uploaded the PDF its only 3meg and when I add a new booklet and select
   the PDF it says “Processing PDF keep this window open” this has been going on
   for over an hour now how long is normal for this?

 * A 10-page PDF file normally takes less than minute.
 * Your server must have timed out while converting the PDF file. Please check with
   your hosting provider.

 * I am having the same problem with this, and have been all day with multiple attempts.
   No server time out. Any thoughts?

 * Processing a PDF file is a very resource-intensive operation. A PDF file having
   more than 10 pages is very likely to make your server unresponsive.
 * Please keep “Limit converted PDF pages to 10” **checked**_ under Booklets->Settings._
