Actually the fields should be preventing the customer from checking out if not filled. Something on your website might be affecting the validation logic.
– Can you send me a screenshot of your Pickup Date and Time Settings from the plugin dashboard?
– Also, can you try temporarily disabling all plugins except WooCommerce and Delivery & Pickup Scheduling to see if the same issue happens?
If it doesn’t then this would be due to a plugin conflict and you’d have to reactivate each plugin one by one while testing the checkout to see which one is the culprit

I found out that, for some reason, the plugin works properly when I change the Fields display location from “Before order notes” to “Before payment options”.
Hi there, I tried moving the fields to “Before order notes” and the validation still worked fine, I even tried a fresh install of divi theme with no modifications and it worked fine as well with the fields set before order notes: https://prnt.sc/FCsVWC5ODiRq
This seems to be limited to your website environment, I’d advise to keep the option to the Before payment options or some other location if they don’t have the issue, but unfortunately I wasn’t able to replicate the issue on my end.
You can also try launching a demo of the plugin here: https://app.instawp.io/launch?t=dps to see if the issue occurs when you install and activate the divi theme. If it doesn’t then as previously mentioned it would be something in your setup that might be causing a conflict
