[Resolved] Proceed to Checkout button

  • Hi,

    I was running through eshop in each browser and came across something strange. In IE, Firefox, and Opera when you click on the “Proceed to Checking” button it disappears. It falls below the “Continue Shopping” button and you cannot see it anymore. If you hover below the “Continue Shopping” button there is a link, the “Proceed” button, but nothing shows up. If you click right next to the “Continue Shopping” button the “Proceed to Checking” button will reappear.

    The only way to continue to the next step is to click on the “Proceed to Checking” button and then when it disappears click under the “Continue Shopping” button.

    If anyone has a suggestion for a fix to this I would much appreciate it!

    Can you replicate the problem using the default Twenty Twelve theme with all other plugins deactivated?

    It doesn’t do that when I change the theme to Twenty Twelve.

    Hi,

    I have just gotten around to looking into this more trying to figure out what in the theme is causing this and have noticed something interesting. Still in IE, Firefox, and Opera the “Proceed to Checkout” button is still missing but it is as if it is either behind the “Edit Details or Continue Shopping” link, which just takes you back to the previous page, or that link has taking over where the “Proceed to Checkout” button is suppose to be.

    I have tried playing with the padding for the “Proceed to Checkout” button to try and move it from out of behind the “Edit Details or Continue Shopping” button but it just moves that link around.

    I am very confused on what is going on. If you can help me at all with this or guide me in the right place to start looking it would much appreciate it.

    What theme are you using? Where did you download it from?

    I am using the Tiga theme and I downloaded it from the Install Theme section of wordpress

    All I can say is that there appears to be a conflict between the theme and the eShop plugin. Have you tried asking the theme’s developer about it?

    Ya I have contacted him but he has never responded. In order to move forward with my site I need to resolve this issue as if anyone is trying to purchase anything from my site they can not unless they are using Chrome.

    Just for kicks I have changed my theme to the Twenty Twelve theme and deactivated all my plugins and I am still having the same problem.

    Would this still be a theme issue?
