 * So I have an active WP site which needs migration. I have setup a temporary addon
   domain and pointed it to my new server. So when I am importing the backup from
   the original server, can I import it on to the temporary addon domain and then
   once the import is complete, point the original domain to new server and will
   it work fine ?
 * OR I have to point the original website to the new server and then import the
   file?

 * Hi Lesley,
 * I have done the export. The problem is to migrate the content to a new server
   keeping the same links. Only server is changing, domain is the same.
 * My problem is I have the original website test1.com and I need to transfer it
   to a new server. I have a test2.com at the moment, so my question is if I import
   it to test2.com will I be able to it as point test1.com back to the server to
   test2.com server and access the links as test1.com? I am wondering this because
   my site is 200 MB and I would like to have minimal downtime.
