CloudFlare has successfully sped up my site ever since I subscribed to the free plan a few days ago, but it has caused me to encounter issues with updating and publishing posts on WordPress.

Anytime I will try to update a post, oftentimes the page will simply load perpetually. The update, however, is actually applied in a normal time frame when I open a new window and check the post I am attempting to update, but the page loads forever regardless. The same happens when I try to publish a post however, in this case, my Jetpack publicizing options do not function because the page never seems to load to that point.

I’ve tried disabling Rocket Loader, as well as all Auto Minify options, but they don’t seem to help. I’ve been using W3 Total Cache and have enabled CloudFlare support through it when I started using it days ago. I have also downloaded the CloudFlare WordPress plugin in hopes that this would help.

Deactivating and activating plugins has also started to take a lot longer now.

I solved my issue; it CloudFlare wasn’t the source. W3 Total Cache and some of the settings for it were, so I deleted the cache related files from the database, re-installed W3 Total Cache without integrating it with CloudFlare, and left every Browser Cache option in W3 Total Cache as default.

I’ve found using https://wordpress.org/plugins/a2-optimized-wp/ a timesaver for W3 Total Cache and clears lots of issues too!
