Problems with Tiled Galleries

    Hi there!

    I’ve never had any trouble with Jetpack but for about a month the Tiled Galleries haven’t been working correctly. When making new galleries the thumbnails in the gallery don’t show up. There are just white spaces. When clicking on the pictures Carousel opens as it should, showing the picture and the title/description.

    Yesterday I turned on Photon for a while which at first seemed to help with the galleries when I tried it with some random pictures but later when I wanted to make an actual gallery in a post it didn’t work again. Also some single pictures in older posts (no galleries) disappeared.

    I would be glad if someone has a solution for the problem.

    I had a look at some of your posts, and the galleries seem to be displayed properly on my end. Here is an example:

    Hi Jeremy!

    The gallery you looked at was one of the older ones that don’t seem to be affected by the problem.

    I made a new gallery which doesn’t work. You can find it in the following post:

    Tiled Galleries use the Photon module to resize the images on the fly and create the tiled effect. If Photon cannot download each image in less than 10 seconds, it will return a broken image.

    Could you try to create a new gallery with smaller images, and let me know if it helps? The images in that gallery seem very large, in size and in dimensions, and take quite a while to load in my tests.

    Hi there

    I have a different problem for some time now using the last 2 or 3 versions (now 3.6). Caroussel Tilled Galleries do not work with the Plugin “Login With Ajax” correctly as before.

    Logged in with Password in “Login with Ajax” only Galleries set to Preview Grid show up correctly. The benefits of Gallery types do not work. Galleries set to Tilled Mosaic show only a patlock. This should happen only without proper Login.
