    Well,
I think the problem it’s already solved. For those who concern about, Thesis theme doesn’t use the ‘the_header’ function, the one that custom sidebars used to hook to replace the sidebars, so the plugin did nothing on thesis installations.

Since the version i just upload, 0.7.1, the replacements will be done using the ‘wp_head’ hook, so i hope it will be compatible with themes that don’t use ‘the header’ function, like Thesis.

Also, this version fixes some other bugs.

Thanks Dulcimer for your support, you are the responsible of being possible to use Custom Sidebars in Thesis.

That was certainly fast. I’m glad I could be of help. There are other plugins to get custom sidebars, but yours is much easier to use. Thanks for making the plugin.

I’ll leave the test site up for… well, for as long as you’d like, in case you need to do any tweaks or changes.

Thank you gentlemen. Looking good so far. Will start to test and work with it.

I’m happy it’s working for you too. I won’t use the test site anymore dulcimer, unless you have more payment software in conflict with my plugins 😀 , so if you want to take it back, it’s al yours.

Don’t forget to say it works in the plugin repository!

    Cheers

    Hello!
I’m using Thesis 1.8 and the custom sidebar do not show up.

I assigned my test sidebar to show for a specific category. No go. I tried assigning it on a per post basis, and there it works. But i really need a sidebar per category relationship so if you could take some of your time for a fix i’d be really thankful.

    Thanks,
    Alexandre.
