# Problems with theme installation

 * I tried installing a theme but I gave me this response
 * Downloading install package from [http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/download/heartland.1.1.zip](http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/download/heartland.1.1.zip).
 * Unpacking the package.
 * Installing the theme.
 * Could not create directory. /home/ceciliay/public_html/wp-content/themes/heartland/
 * Theme Install Failed.

 * chmod `/wp-content` to 777 and do the install
    chmod back to 755 when done should
   work thereafter
