• Hi, I tried using the current version of “The Events Calendar” with the new updated design as it says here:

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/enabling-updated-calendar-views/

With Polylang activated I thought it wouldn’t be a problem but the way links are generated leads to a broken and unusable calendar. For instance if I want to use the “month / list” switch, the links look like this (on my German standard page of the site):

    https://www.domain.de/(en)/termine/monat/

“termine” is events, “monat” is month here. The (en) in brackets is wrong, first of all the language code shouldn’t be there in the first place since I’m on the “de” standard page and second it should not be in the URL in brackets.

The date picker on the month view isn’t working (just once and then nothing), links in the switcher or navigation at the bottom sometimes look like this:

    https://www.domain.de/(en)/termine/(/?:list|liste)/&tribe-bar-date=2019-10-01

And this is while permalinks are on. In the link, there are terms for “list” in both languages, so in some part of the code there should have been maybe an if-request but it didn’t work and no term was being chosen, instead there is this piece of code in round brackets.

I already asked developers of The Events Calendar but they said Polylang claimed compatibility in summer of 2021. So what now?

    Hello,

We are working on a compatibility with The Events Calendar but in Polylang Pro only and not in Polylang (the version available on the WordPress repository). We still have some work to do for the new V2 design (we hope we’ll be done in the next few month).
