# Problems with publishing

 * I am using the Theme [SmartOne. ](https://wordpress.org/themes/smartone)
 * After installing the latest WordPress Update 4.0.1 I have difficulties publishing
   posts. If I press the button **“Publish”** nothing happens. Are there any other
   settings I should adjust after having installed the latest WordPress Update?

 * If you click other buttons, they work without issue?
    Is it just the publish 
   post button?
 * Do you have plugins that do something when you hit publish, for example, notify
   other sites etc?
 * Are all your plugins up to date?
 * Sorry for the barrage of questions, just trying to work out what might be causing
   any interference.

 * It is only the publish post button that does not work. Yes, the plugins are all
   up to date.
 * Do you have further ideas?
