    Hi:

I have upgraded to the latest version of WP to all my sites. But one particular site gives me a dashboard which has 2 separate columns – My Sites and Network Admin. I do not wish to add sites to this Network.
How do I get to work with just the plain Dashboard – Site name and delete the Network Admin?

I have installed 2014 theme. I have also installed Buddypress and related plugins as its a social network site. 🙁

    Thanks a lot

Can you screenshot this? I’m not sure that I’ve ever seen that before.

    Hi Mika:

    Thank you for your reply.

    Here is the screenshot….

    Appreciate your help.

    Thank you and regards.

Just to Clarify — you want to get rid of WordPress Multisite and have it be a standard 1 website WordPress installation?

Oh. Okay, that is what I expected to see actually.

But one particular site gives me a dashboard which has 2 separate columns – My Sites and Network Admin. I do not wish to add sites to this Network.

So this is happening because that site is on a Network already.

If you don’t want it to be on a network, you’ll have to do what Patrick said and remove it.

Thanks for the reply Patrick and Mika.

Yes, I don’t want to be on Network – can you’ll please help me. I am just a layman blogger so I don’t understand what Patrick says 🙁

Can you’ll please help me remove the Network in a very simple way?

    Thanks again and regards.

    Go to yourdomain.com/wp-admin/network

If you can get in there, then yes, you can remove the network. But seeing as you didn’t set it up, I suspect you may not be the network admin here.

If you are, great! Read this: http://wpmututorials.com/how-to/how-to-disable-multisite/

Thanks for the help. Appreciate it.
