    Hi,

    After the latest update I have a few problems. Even though my IP is whitelisted, any comment I try to post gets blocked with “ERROR: Sorry, human verification failed.”. Request to REST API is denied from my ip address and locked out. Comments are marked spam and denied, IP gets blocked and locked out.

    I’m not sure if legit readers/contributors are are having the same issue and not being able to post comments so I had to deactivate cerber until this issue is resolved.

    Do you use a free WP theme? I mean can I download it somehow for a test. I think there is some incompatibility issue.

    On Jetpack, you need to enable XML RPC on the Hardening page.

    And I have Disable XML-RPC unchecked on the Hardening page. Is this what you meant?

    Stop user enumeration is checked
    Disable XML-RPC is unchecked
    Disable feeds is unchecked
    And under Disable Rest API:
    Block access to the WP REST API except the following is checked
    Allow REST API for logged in users is checked
    and jetpack in the namespaces

    Please inspect the Activity tab for URLs containing jetpack. If a plugin blocks something, it writes a message to the activity log.

    Hi Gioni,

    just wanted to let you know that after updating to 5.8 JP stats are displaying now.

    So the only issue: I cannot enable Cerber antispam engine to protect comment. When I do and I post a comment as a non-logged user comment is denied as spam (bot detected).

    Could you test out posting comments in a different browser? Also, check the browser console (F12) for errors: 1) while you are on a page with a comment form and 2) while you are submitting a comment.

    P.S. I just tested the theme, no issues, posting comments works fine.

    Hi Gioni,

    so I figured what the issue was. I use WPBruiser plugin alongside your plugin. I unchecked “Protect Comments For”m in the settings of WPBruiser and was finally able to post a comment successfully without getting “ERROR: Sorry, human verification failed.”
