• Good afternoon, I have a query. I don’t know if I’m in the right forum, sorry. I finished installing WordPress, I wanted to install a theme from my computer and the following error appears:

    Could not create directory wp-content / uploads / 2020/07. Make sure the server has write permissions for the top directory.

    I checked the Apache logs and I got the following:

    [Mon Jul 13 21:46:14.644446 2020] [cgi:error] [pid 56348] [client 186.48.58.39:46828] AH01215: …/cache/Directory.php:65 ET_Core_Cache_Directory::_initialize():: /usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys/ea-php72, referer: https://rafaelmotaniz.com/wp-admin/theme-install.php?browse=featured
    [Mon Jul 13 21:46:14.644598 2020] [cgi:error] [pid 56348] [client 186.48.58.39:46828] AH01215: <strong>Unable to write to filesystem. Please ensure that PHP has write access to one of the following directories:: /usr/local/cpanel/cgi-sys/ea-php72, referer: https://rafaelmotaniz.com/wp-admin/theme-install.php?browse=featured</strong>

    There it is shown that when you try to install the theme, you do not have PHP permissions to access the directory where you want to load.

    How do I add the necessary permissions? Do I have to modify the php.ini file? I use Cpanel and WHM for the administration of my VPS.

    My English is not very good, I use google translator, I hope it is understood.

    Thank you very much!
