Problems with images url in new template

  • I’m making a new template and I’m having problems with the location of the images. When I try to add new cursors with the url value. The images are in a folder named ‘images’, so I tried with ‘images/cursor.png’ and ‘./images/cursor.png’, also with the absolute path, moving back with ‘..’ and with a link from internet and nothing works. This is happening within the style.css file, with the style attribute in the .php files and with jquery, and not only when I change the css but also when I change the attributes. If I choose a src in an img tag in a .php it’s ok, but when I change the src attribute with jquery it doesn’t work.
Thanks in advance and sorry for any mistake in the writing; I’m spanish
