I would like to have the grouped display like you show on the plugin’s header image on WP. Each letter is grouped into a section? ALso, why do I have those # signs, in the view?

    Here is the shortcode I used [a-z-listing display=”terms” taxonomy=”category” grouping=”3″]

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

The # symbol is used to group all items that the plugin could not assign to a specific alphabet character. This usually means that items whose title begins with a symbol or a number are grouped into the # entry. You can separate the numbers into their own section by adding numbers="before" or numbers="after" which will place the numbers either before or after the main alphabet letters – the # symbol will then group all items whose titles don’t begin with either an alphabetic character or a number.

Your use of grouping="3" means that the alphabet will be grouped with three letters from the alphabet in each group, i.e. A-C, D-F etc. When you add the numbers="after" to a shortcode with grouping= the numbers will be listed as a single 0-9 group.
