[Resolved] Problems with copying parent theme files to child theme

Hi! So I am making a child theme to Twenty-Ten through yahoo. I copied all of the Twenty-Ten files into the new theme directory I created. Originally I just had the style.css file copied but there were other ones I wanted to edit so I decided to copy all of them. Now it seems that maybe a path is broken or something..? I try to open theme-editor.php and there’s no content. I have all of the files from the twenty-ten theme copied…not sure why it’s not working.

    Thanks!!

Remove all files except the style.css file and any template files that you have customised. Do not copy across the whole functions.php file from the parent theme. You have to create a new functions.php file in the child and add only your custom functions.

The problem is probably the functions.php file. Try deleting it first.
