# Problems with comments

 * Every comment on my site is showing us as being posted by me, even when other
   post them! When I go to “edit comments” in admin, they’re properly attributed
   to their respective writers. Any ideas? Help! [http://www.blogosaur.com](http://www.blogosaur.com)

 * What version of WordPress are you using? Does your comments.php file include 
   a call to `wp_list_comments`? If so, can you paste that line here?

 * WordPress 2.7.1 — freshly installed yesterday.
 * I searched my comments.php file and did not come up with “wp_list_comments” anywhere.
 * I just discovered that it’s something to do with my theme, though — I switched
   themes and this fixed the problem. I’m not ready to abandon it yet, though (this
   will eventually be a commercial site and I’ve already started putting in my own
   logos and such). Is this something I’ll likely have to take up with the theme’s
   designer?

 * Yes – unless you’re in a position to edit the theme yourself.

 * Working on it — I’m a graphic designer rather than a programmer, but I’m having
   a little success dicking with the css, and learning a lot as I go. Thanks for
   your help.
