# Problems with carousel

 * It’s me again
    First, I’m having a bit of an issue with the carousel. The pic
   from the latest post shows up just fine, but the img from oldest one is showing
   up a bit higher, as if the entire li element had moved up somehow… you can see
   it [here](http://tortaenelhorno.com/)
 * (I only have 2 post for now because my authors are away…)
 * Both images have the exact same size and though I am using a child theme, I didn’t
   touch any css elemnt from the caurosel, so they shouldn’t look any different…

 * Have you regenerated your thumbnails using a plugin? You might also need some
   bigger images. Also, your images are not the same size.

 * No, I uploaded the thumb images myself, and they are all the same size (400×400),
   but for some reason it’s not reading them as such…
 * I tried adding a fake post to see what happens, and the images all shrink down
   to the size the eldest post img shows up with.
 * Also, the author name is not showing. First it was only showing the admin, and
   when I tried to fix it by following the steps [here](http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#Why_isn.27t_the_admin_user_listed_as_an_author_when_editing_posts.3F),
   but it didn’t work and now there’s no name showing up at all. I’m not sure if
   the problem is wordpress, or the theme, and if it’s relateed at all…

 * The second one is 500×400. That’s what I’m seeing in the source code of your 
   site.
    That’s how the carousel works, it’s sized to the height of the first image
   then it adapts as it scrolls. As I said before, use some bigger images. The theme
   crops them at 600×400 for the carousel. In your case it doesn’t because they’re
   not bigger than that, so it doesn’t make them the same size.
 * Can’t help about the admin thing, you probably need to revert what you did.

 * I know the souce says so, I saw it when I first realize it the issue. But the
   images size is 400×400

 * I tried to post a new article as another author on a fake site I used, same theme
   with child theme, and I came up with the same problem: only author showing up
   is the admin
 * Is there a way to hide the author altogether until I figure out what’s wrong?
   On the options the author comes with the date, and but I want to date to show

 * I can’t seem to figure the carosel out. I would like to use it as RECENT POSTS
   for the article pages. No images come up, just the latest links. I have excepts
   for thumbnails plugin and a 250 wide image in every post. There seems to be no
   settings to know what’s going on.
    Help me please, I love the thing. Dumped MAGAZINE
