# Problems With Blog

 * Hi Guys I’m having problems with one of my blogs. It had been lying on my old
   laptop and hadn’t been touched for a long time, so the first thing I done was
   to update to the current version of WP. Online everything seems normal. It’s 
   when I started to add new posts that I started to spot difficulties.
 * When I open New Post and go to visual the Toolbar is completely gone with the
   exception of the image, video, audio and add media buttons. However, the toolbar
   does appear to be there in html mode.
 * What I’ve also noticed is that when I go to say ‘help’ and select it nothing 
   happens, the blog just sits there.
 * Also let’s say I have my view set to visual and I go to edit posts and select
   a post, the page appears blank, scroll down a little and you find little red 
   lines on the page, just like a typo.
 * Click html mode and then go back to visual mode and everything is there, except
   that it appears in html mode ie all the tags are there eg <h2>, paragraph breaks
   etc., go online and everything appears as normal.
 * Haven’t a clue what is going on. I was using the latest version of WP and I’ve
   also forced an update. Any suggestions?

 * My Browser of choice is Firefox but the problem appears in it AND in IE 8
