# Problems with archives

 * Hi, i new to wordpress but have this week created this site from scratch.

   This is the problem i need help with.
 * 1. The archives page and the category page doesn’t look to well. I have read 
   many tutorials and the WP docs but don’t know how to solve this problem. I’m 
   using dynamic content gallery and maybe therefore i have problems with the design.
 * But how do I create a own archive.php? Do I first create a new page and link 
   it to archives and then add a own archives.php with my own code?

 * You do not need a page to have an archive. Just create archive.php (not archive**
   s**.php) and it will be used for archive queries.
