 * Hello, 2 days ago I installed Site KIT in one of my webs without any problem.
   However, trying to install this plugin again , it does not work, and by clicking
   the “Recovey my account” (Volver a recuperar mi cuenta in spanish) it does not
   work out. The same happen with another web that I have.
 * I am trying to install all these 3 webs inside my gmail account. Namely, only
   I suceeded in installing Analytics in the first webpage, not in the following
   2.
 * I checked all the different posts in the website which describe this problem,
   I uninstalled and reinstalled, desactive all the plugins… I tried all and anything
   works out.
 * Thanks on advance

 * 2) Lastly, does your Google Account have [administrative permissions](https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/2884495)
   for the website properties on the Google Analytics platform?
 * 3) Could you provide your site URL?

 * If you press to “recovery to my account”, it tries to load, but 0.5 ms after
   it´s cancelled. Thanks for your help

 * 1) Could you attempt connecting Analytics in [an incognito browser](https://i.imgur.com/ALzgiHp.png)
   to ensure browser extensions are not involved?
 * 2) You can provide your URL and additionally [Site Health Information](https://i.imgur.com/Rtkmsba.png)
   [through this form](https://forms.gle/EzYPPCPYpK3hJ65MA). This will help us see
   if there are any known conflicts.

 * [@alejandrogarijo](https://wordpress.org/support/users/alejandrogarijo/) thanks
   for the info! I don’t see anything that is known, so let’s check a few other
   external factors that might be affecting this:
 * 1) Could you check for any [browser console errors](https://i.imgur.com/KyLAzgH.png)
   after you have pressed “recovery to my account” ?
 * Feel free to send a screenshot.
 * 2) It looks like your host provides a firewall. Do you know if this is currently
   enabled?

 * Hello Renee,
 * 1) Please find attached the screenshot of the Console error:
 * [IMGUR](https://imgur.com/bw9xB4t)
 * 2) I think that this is not the problem. I installed Analytics in another website
   by doing the same I am trying to do here. In the first website I installed without
   any problem, the second one I cannot (I am installing both in the same Google
   account, and have all the required permissions in both websites).
 * Thanks on advance

 * [@alejandrogarijo](https://wordpress.org/support/users/alejandrogarijo/) thanks
   for the screenshot and additional info.
 * That’s very odd that you’re getting a 404 (missing error) on the request for
   one site and not the other.
 * Could you confirm that the [default URL](https://jmp.sh/Ht2Wt15) for the property
   found in your Analytics admin matches the website exactly with correct protocol
   and subdomain present (**[http://www](http://www).**yourdomain.com)?

 * Yeah, the default URL matches with the admin Analytics:
 * [IMGUR](https://imgur.com/TOOKcTj)
 * I don´t understand how to check the protocol and subdomain, but the link of Analytics
   matches with the hosting, and with everything.
 * Thanks a lot for your interest

 * [@alejandrogarijo](https://wordpress.org/support/users/alejandrogarijo/) thank
   you for the confirmation with the image! It looks like that value matches. I
   am going to try to troubleshoot the issue at your host just to rule it out.
 * Is the site you were able to successfully connect to Analytics a staging site
   or live/ production site?
 * Also, does that site have the same theme and plugins that are activated on the
   site with the issue?

 * Hello Renee,
 * I tried everything, re-installed, etc and nothing worked out.
 * Finally I installed the another plugin: “Google Analytics for WordPress by MonsterInsights”
   and it worked out, although I would have prefered to install the Google official
   plugin.
 * In any case, thanks a lot for your help 😉

 * [@alejandrogarijo](https://wordpress.org/support/users/alejandrogarijo/) I just
   want to follow up with you on my findings at your host. I discovered though my
   journey testing that they block traffic from certain countries by default (I
   am based in the US). Eventually, I was able to attempt setting up Analytics via
   VPN from both an approved country and after whitelisting my own [in their settings](https://guias.webempresa.com/preguntas-frecuentes/acceso-desde-paises-habla-no-hispana/).
   I was successful in both attempts.
 * The curious thing is that when I was being blocked from accessing the WordPress
   administration it led to a 404/403 error on the host. I am not sure where your
   IP is based or if this second site or the server it is on needs security exceptions,
   but it may be worth checking if the request is being blocked with the host.

 * [@alejandrogarijo](https://wordpress.org/support/users/alejandrogarijo/) I’m
   following up on your topic regarding the issue with Analytics.
 * While we were not able to recreate the issue at your host, we suspect that the
   issue could be related to an aspect of the server environment your site is in-
   particularly, possibly the cURL library being used (see [this issue](https://github.com/google/site-kit-wp/issues/1575)
   for more details).
 * Unfortunately, we’re limited on the solutions we can provide there, but we’re
   working on a way to [detect these issues](https://github.com/google/site-kit-wp/issues/1549)
   sooner at setup. The next best course of action would be to contact your host.
 * We greatly appreciate your report and patience as we looked into this.
