Problems when searching for numbers / digits

    I’ve found out that if I have a custom field (by using Advanced Custom Fields for example) I cannot search it’s content if it only contains digits. For example I have a custom field called “year” and when searching for “1972” nothing is found.

    After playing around I’ve found out that searching for it works if I change my searchterm from “1972” to “\1972”. Am I missing something or is this a bug? And if yes, is it possible to fix this?
