    Hello,

I’m having issues uploading PDFs to my Memphis Doc library. I keep getting this message:

Data was not submitted. The submit process is out of sync or you have disabled cookies, please turn on cookies then refresh your browser and try again.

Cookies are turned on. If I keep persisting, every now and again the upload goes through, but most of the time it fails.

  • Hi,

I am getting this same message and unable to upload any files.
This is since one of the last updates.

Again, cookies are on, I’ve tried different browsers, tried refreshing, clearing the cache but no luck.
Another thread mentions disabling sessions but when I do this I get a different error called ‘security error’
Also tried putting in the exact filename but still the same error

@hannahhayes did you try to disable session from the mdocs settings menu?

as for you @lasunison try to disable all other plugins as see what the results are.

    Hi,

Cannot upload files anymore. I click on “Add New Document” button and the file loading page pops up but does not appear to complete loading the page. I can fill in all the details for the files I want to upload but when I go to the bottom of the page to click on the upload or submit button I find a small blue button without description about a third or quarter of the size of the normal button. At the top of the page in the heading section it still display “loading…”. Not sure how long I had this problem, the last time I attempted to upload a file was about 3 weeks ago and it worked then. Can you help please.

Problem resolved itself. Must have been a server error.

Usually that is a javascript error when the button disappears like that.

    Hi,
In my previous response I wrote that the problem is resolved. That is still the case with me (as user admin)but my wife (user with editing permission) seems to have the same problem. The upload page does not fully load. At the top left corner of the page we get “Loading….” whilst the rest of the page seems ok. Can enter all the details for the file to be uploaded but when going down to the bottom of the page to finish, only a quarter of the blue button shows. What this means is that I can upload files myself at least but my users cannot. Any ideas?

if you don’t see a save button on the upload page it means that you have a javascript error. Please open an inspector with your wife account and tell me if you see any javascript errors.

    Hi,
Thanks for taking time out for this issue.
I opened the inspect window in Google Chrome and got this error under the console tab:
“Uncaught ReferenceError: grunionEditorView is not defined”
    at k (http://cheddingtonbowls.org.uk/wp-includes/js/tinymce/wp-tinymce.php?c=1&ver=4603-20170530:14:11631)
    at ……..
    at ……………
I get 10 lines in total, all starting with ‘at’. Assume indicating 10 errors.
I could attach the screen capture of what I get if there was an option for uploading files to you but I failed to find one.
    Regards

looks to be a tinymce error. What version of WordPress are you using?

I try to keep up with the updates. Currently running 4.8.1

try going to mdocs dashboard Options > Settings > Bootstrap – Dashboard see if that helps?

Thanks for giving your time to this. Before I was going to try your suggestion I asked my wife to try adding a document and we could not believe it.
It is now working without us making any changes. Looked at the Inspect window console and that does not show any errors either. Must have been a server issue I guess. Strange, this happened once before, just after I first raised the problem if you check this thread. Leave everything as it is while its working. Thanks again.
