# problems uploading an image

 * I have wordpress 2.7.1 I need to upload some images, I have done this before 
   many times. Now today I keep getting the error –
 * The uploaded file could not be moved to /home/user/public_html/dot/wp-content/
   uploads/2009/05
 * no matter what I do or try I keep getting that error on posts and pages it doesn’t
   matter.
 * What is wrong? Is this wordpress or maybe my server?

 * Check with these tricks:
 * 1) Please ask your hosting service provider to grant 766 recursive permissions
   to wp-contents/upload folder

 * I made sure that the wp-contents/uploads is set to 755 and tried 766 still getting
   the same error.
 * Is there a meaning to recursive. I use FileZilla to upload to the server and 
   set it this way.
 * I am still getting the same error no matter what I do.
 * I have multiple domians on the same server, this domain is the only one that 
   will not let me upload images. It did last week but now it won’t.
 * I have a few blogs installed on this domain and none of them will let me upload
   an image.
 * What could be the problem?
