    Hello,

Here’s what I have found so far:

When I manually place Adsense ‘in article’ ad with HTML in a post, the Ad shows up on the frontend.

When I use Advanced Ads, it shows up in the backend but not in the frontend.

In some other parts of the site, Adsense Ads are showing with AA. These are using placements.

Using the Advanced Ads website Checker, it told me the code was placed more than once, but I don’t recall placing the Adsense code on my site elsewhere and when searching through source code and plugins I can’t find it (but I’m a little lost there too!) I have disabled the AA injection of the code and that error has gone away now but this isn’t ideal, I would like AA to manage the code placement.

How do I find out what is placing the code? What am I looking for in the Source Code? Maybe that will give me a clue.

Now, if I put my Adsense Ad into an AA Placement and enable Cache Busting Ajax option, it shows up, but the same Ad on its own using AA (without a placement) does not show up.

I have 4 ads in every article and 500 articles so I don’t want to change them all to placements… and I’m not sure that Ajax Cache busting is necessary since HTML code placed in the article works fine.

I am not the most technical and have spent hours and hours reading various help pages, but still, I can’t figure out how to resolve this without some help.

I hope someone can guide me to stop me going in circles.

    Thanks for reading.
    Tim

    Hi Tim,

What you’re describing looks like a cache busting issue. I’d be happy to help you figure out what’s breaking here. However, this forum is the wrong place to do that, as it only discusses problems for plugins that are themselves hosted on wordpress.org.

Cache busting is a pro feature and that’s why I would really appreciate it if you contact us through our support channel. Feel free to include a link to this topic in your message, so you don’t have to write everything twice.

Thanks for your understanding, and I hope to see you there!

    Best regards,
    Joachim

    Hello Joachim,

I already contacted Advanced Ads on Thursday by via the support email (Henning replied on Thursday) but I have sent 3 further emails and had no reply on Friday, so was getting desperate to try to resolve the issue.

I will try this way, thank you.

    Hi Tim,

    Thanks for your reply.

I’m sorry that you haven’t received a response to your additional questions after our initial response.

After Henning’s reply, I noticed that you kept sending more emails after your email without waiting for another response. Since both Henning and I process the tickets in our inbox in chronological order, you keep moving your request to the end of the queue with an untimed follow-up email.

Please give us some time to answer your questions there.

    Best regards,
    Joachim

    Ohh that explains it.

I am preparing all the information you need – please wait for me to submit the ticket, I just need 5 more minutes.

    Thanks,
    Tim
