 * Okay, this is a strange problem, and I have no clue what is going on. I’ll preface
   in saying this problem only started after I installed a new template. I have
   problems seeing the posts from the current date. The space for it will be there,
   the title will be there, but I can’t see the text until I scroll past it and
   back up or if I select the text. It’s very weird. I’ve asked readers of my blog
   if they have trouble seeing it, and no one has had trouble except me. Also, when
   I put an image in the post, sometimes they will show up automatically and not
   the text, so it’ll be a random image floating in a blank space. my site is [http://blog.alishahunt.com](http://blog.alishahunt.com).
   To see a screenshot of what I”m talking about: [http://www.alishahunt.com/images/blogproblem.jpg](http://www.alishahunt.com/images/blogproblem.jpg).
   Thanks in advance.

 * I don’t see any problems either. Try switching to Firefox (permanently): [http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/](http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/)
 * Or, read this, then switch:

 * On my most recent post tonight, I had to hit ALT-R to refresh the screen to see
   my published item. More troubling, I found that I had to go to that published
   post and click on the “edit this” option + exit to make the post final. What’s
   my trouble with that? This: I had to go to each of the Three browsers I use and
   within each click on the “edit this” + exit to make the post final there. Presumably,
   if I did not go to my blog in each browser then in one or the other the post
   could have been edited — along with everything else within the blog — by anyone
   who went to it on a browser I was not using. (I use Mozilla, Opera, and Avant/
   IE) This can’t be; can it?

 * To be clear, the second and third browser did not have my blog up — I had the
   address each to my blog and when it came up the “edit this” was showing.

 * Thanks podz for the link. I’m pretty sure that is the problem, but I’m just not
   sure how to fix it. It sounds complicated. I have worked with CSS, but I find
   altering templates and CSS in WP intimidating. I do feel better knowing about
   the problem. 🙂
 * To macmanx: It is not very practical to suggest someone switch to Firefox and
   firefox only. I tried that on the suggestion of a computer-savvy friend of mine,
   but I had tons of problems with large sites like those of large online stores.
   Besides, not everyone reading my blog is going to be using Firefox :). Thanks
   though.

 * Are you sure that you were using Firefox v1.0?

 * Macmanx,
    Actually, I can confirm issues with many large online stores and Firefox.
   Why? Because the demographic of their customers is such that the majority of
   them use IE.
 * Futureshop.ca, which works just fine in IE, partnered up with a retail music
   store, a la iTunes, and they had a redirect page for non-IE browsers, telling
   you to “upgrade” to the lastest IE to use their site. I sent them a snotty email,
   and they replied that their research showed that the majority of their customers
   would be using IE, and that support for Gecko browsers et al. would have to wait.
 * Not surprising that this still happens at all. My employer insists on IE, and
   all web dev for the employer is based on IE. I was threatened with a letter of
   discipline because I installed Firefox on my workstation. Yep, it was contrary
   to policy for me to do that, but how can a person be disciplined for using a
   SAFER tool in the workplace?
 * EDIT: Here’s a link to that online music story, for demonstration purposed of
   how bad the site looks in Firefox. WordPress does NOT endorse this site in any
   way. Nor do I, for that matter.

 * NM, I agree. Most of my readers use IE (which is odd, considering that my blog
   is a bit mac-biased), but I do my best to double-check my page in IE. And, they’re
   still greeted with a rather large “Get Firefox” banner.
 * EDIT: (in response to NM’s posted site) Ouch. IE-only, PC-only, and Canada-only.
   How much more of the market can they deny?

 * Macmanx,
    I agree that it’s a good thing to check your site in other browsers,
   no argument there. I am very happy to see that less than 25% of my visitors are
   using IE. :! GO FIREFOX!
