   out!
   It seems the site is using a maintenance plugin. Do the scans run when you
   disable the maintenance mode? Also, if you’re using CDN (like Cloudflare) or 
   have server firewall rules in place, try to temporarily disable it to see if 
   the scans will run okay, and then make sure to whitelist the [Security Scanner IP Address](https://help.solidwp.com/hc/en-us/articles/8724067314459-Security-Scanner-IP-Address).
   Please note that the Site Scanner needs the site to be accessible and requires
   access to the REST API to function correctly.I hope this helps!

 * Yes, that makes perfect sense. I forget that the scanning is not server side!
