problems registering with my new site

    Hi there. I have just set up my site with WP and am now trying to test the registering aspect. However when I register and fill out the form nothing appears to happen. When I attempt to sign in using the info I registered with it says username or password invalid. Then when I try to register again using the same info it tells me that that username has been taken but not activated. What’s going on?

    Also I registered a user via the admin back end using their email address, and the message said that a password would be sent to that email, yet no password was sent to that person’s email so they have not been able to log in.

    In another post you mention buddypress. Are you using that on this site?

    If so, have you died for support on their forums?

    I am using buddypress on twenty ten child and I do not have any problem registering there may be plugin that conflicting to deactivate plugins except for buddypress and see if you still having problem.

    it is working fine the activate plugin one at time to find conflicting plugin.
