    Hi Josh,

    I use image maps and I’ve always had success placing the Style CSS code
    img {outline : none;}
    to get rid of the blue borders that appear when you click a hot spot.

    I noticed the blue borders were back, so I checked the Style CSS and saw that the closing curly bracket ” } ” was missing from my code. I added it, saved it and tested the image map, but the closing bracket didn’t stick.

    No matter how many times I try to enter the code, it keeps dropping that closing curly bracket so my CSS won’t work.

    This problem exists across all sites in which I use UltimateTNYMCE so I think it may be a plugin problem. The WP support forum suggested I post my question here.

    I’m stumped and really frustrated. Check the image map at the bottom of the home page at

    Thanks!
    Hillary

  • Hello Hillary, I had a look at your website home page using Firefox 26.0 and could not see any blue borders around the image map.

    Perhaps you could share a creen dump highlighting the blue borders.

    Kind regards

    I’m going to make this as resolved. Please let me know if you experience any other issues relating to the image maps.

    Thanks!
