Problems occur when trying to activate Relevanssi

    Hi,

    When I tried to access my Relevanssi page with my administrator account, I’ve got a “You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.” error message which was kind of weird.

    I’ve decided to reinstall the plugin (Deactivate then Delete) and when I tried to reinstall the plugin I’ve got this error message :

    “The plugin generated 465 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.”

    I’ve look into my debug.log file and I can see this error log :

    [04-Feb-2016 20:36:45 UTC] WordPress database error Duplicate column name ‘term_reverse’ for query ALTER TABLE wp_relevanssi ADD COLUMN term_reverse VARCHAR(50); made by activate_plugin, do_action(‘activate_relevanssi/relevanssi.php’), call_user_func_array, relevanssi_install, _relevanssi_install, relevanssi_create_database_tables

    [04-Feb-2016 20:36:45 UTC] WordPress database error Duplicate key name ‘relevanssi_term_reverse_idx’ for query CREATE INDEX relevanssi_term_reverse_idx ON wp_relevanssi (term_reverse(10)); made by activate_plugin, do_action(‘activate_relevanssi/relevanssi.php’), call_user_func_array, relevanssi_install, _relevanssi_install, relevanssi_create_database_tables

    I still can’t see the Relevanssi admin page, I still get the permissions error.

    Any idea what can cause this error? All my others plugins are up to date.

    How did you install Relevanssi? Directly from the depository, or did you upload the files manually?

    I’ve installed it directly from the depository. I’ve got the error message while activating it though, not when I’ve downloaded the file from the depository.

    This sounds like a corrupt installation to me.

    The error message about unexpected output is nothing to worry about.
