Problems moving site to localhost

    Hi there,

    I’m trying to move my website to my localmachine.
    I successfully created a package and installer and ran the installer on the localhost server.

    I get to the third stage. All the files go into the directory, but when I test the site, nothing loads, it is just a white page.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hey Dan,

    Checkout this section on the FAQs I believe it may help with this issue:
    -> Browse to: http://lifeinthegrid.com/duplicator-faq
    -> Find section: “2. Installer=> Post-Install”

    Hi,

    Thanks for your suggestion, I went ahead and did just what you said.
    I ended up using the spreadsheet which was recommended to try to find URL redirects.
    The spreadsheet said I was getting a 500 Internal Server Error.
    I then read on to the section covering this problem, but it wasn’t very helpful for using localhost.

    What would be the next course of action that you recommened? I really appreciate your help.

    Checkout this question as well you may have to open up some config files…

    Why do I get a blank screen on my site?
