# Problems installing

 * I’ve tried installing both locally (DesktopServer) and remotely (shared hosting)
   and wasn’t able to make it work.
 * First, I had to change the original Git folder name, eliminating -master, before
   I could even activate it. But, then, options for selecting Admins and Projects
   are not visible.
 * On the remote install it also made a mess out of permalinks. Had to disable it.

 * Sorry for the delay in getting back to you, I must have missed the notification
   for wordpress.org.
 * I’m not sure why you gulled the GIT version of the plugin, but if you install
   it from the plugin directory there shouldn’t be any issue.
 * The plugin doesn’t touch the permalinks so I’m not sure why that would have changed.
 * You may want to take a look at the new plugin version of GlotPress that’s available
   now as well.

 * First of all, let me congratulate you for the newest GlotPress plugin. Trying
   your GP Integration was my first try. I didn’t try the new plugin yet. But I 
   do have some ideas on how to improve the GlotPress experience… 😉 Like [this one](https://glotpress.trac.wordpress.org/ticket/432#comment:3),
   I guess.

 * We’re just starting a re-design now and I’m sure many of those tickets will be
   looked at again.
