• Good evening,

Thanks for developing this plugin, this is really useful.

I have problems using it in a WordPress Network. I have tried to upload images using you standar upload method and it fails.

I have set 777 permission to upload plugin folder but yes, I think that the problem comes from the Network (standard uploads are organized in a different way).

    Thanks for helping.

    Dear Javier,

Since the custom uploader’s functionality posts files not to the Uploads folder, but to the Plugin folder, and moves them to the Uploads folder
afterwards, you should set 755 permissions to the folders wp-content, plugins, gallery-plugin, upload, files, as well as uploads, 2014, 11. In such a case the plugin’s script will have enough permissions to upload images. Here is some useful information for you http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions#Shared_Hosting_with_suexec .You can use standard uploader on the same page of the gallery editing and
the uploaded images will appear in the block under the custom uploader.

    Good afternoon,

    And thanks for your answer.

This is not a shared hosting, this is our own hosting (a big machine in AWS) and I am a system administrator also, so I am sure all write permission are given in all affected dirs.

Is there any problem working with WordPress Networks?

    Dear Javier,

Our plugin works on the network the same way it does on a regular WP installation.

In case you have problems when using standard WP uploader, then, unfortunately, our plugin’s uploaded will fail to work as well. We do not know which exact errors does standard WP uploader give when you are trying to upload images. We assume that the problem may be triggered by permissions.

We suggest you contact WP support service with standard uploader failure issue.

    Dear Bestweb,

Thanks for your answer. Using the WP Media Uploader I have been able to do it 🙂

Now it is working, thanks for your great support.

Anyway, I have gallery-plugin/upload/files with 777 and the plugin uploader is not working. This is a self dedicated host and I have no problems with permissions in other plugins (as I told you, this is a WP-Network).
