Problems Importing Posts from WP.com to Standalone WP Blog

    I’m trying to move a blog from WordPress.com to a standalone WP blog. I’ve exported the posts and attachments without any problem, but when I try to import them into the new blog and the import file attachments, mapped to a user who already exists, the process stops after only one or two posts and then sends me to the blog’s 404 error page. Every time I run it I get one more post, so I know they’re in there.

    Any idea what the problem is?
