# Problems importing OPML from Google Reader

 * I’m having problems importing the OPML file created by Google Reader. I have 
   saved the file and opened it in OPML Editor just fine. I’ve even added the <?
   xml … ?> to the first line, but still, I am receiving the same error over and
   over again:
 * **XML error: no element found at line 1**
 * Thoughts? Has anyone else had this problem? Could it be a line encoding problem,
   since I’m running OS X?

 * I’m running on Linux (Ubuntu) and see the same error import OPML files from either
   Bloglines or Google Reader. If I point WordPress at the export URL for the Google
   Reader, it claims success, but imports nothing.
 * At this point I’m thinking the fault is on the side of the WordPress code.
