Problems importing database. Please help!

    I’ve exported my database, but it’s a .SQL file over 32mb. When I tried importing onto my new WordPress blog it says that it needs to be a WXR file no larger than 2mb. What should I do?

    You are mixing apples and oranges.

    You exported a database. You have to import that database into MySQL using phpMyAdmin in your webhost control panel.

    The import in WP is to import posts that were exported within WP from a different blog site.

    I interpreted the words you used as meaning what I just described. If I have not understood what your situation is, please explain in more detail.
