# Problems creating Expound Child Theme

 * I am trying to create a child theme for expound (v. 1.6). When I activate the
   child theme on wp, I get just the text without any of the background or formatting.
 * With the child theme activated it looks like this:
 * [http://tutors-in-bristol.co.uk/](http://tutors-in-bristol.co.uk/)
 * The path I am using is:
    wp-content themes expound expound-child
 * and the code in my style.css is:
 * [@import](https://wordpress.org/support/users/import/) url(“../expound/style.
   css”);
    /* Theme Name: expound-child Template: expound Version: 1.6 */
 * I’ve created child theme before without any problems, so I am not sure where 
   I am going wrong? Any help would be much appreciated.
