@barry_ – Have you tried using something other than the default (numeric) WordPress Permalinks structure? If I may suggest, give “Post name” or “Month name” a try and see if this sorts out the issue for you.
You may also need to clear your image cache under Gallery > Other Options > Miscellaneous as well.

@barry_ – I still see you are using the default Permalinks on your site, is there a specific reason you need to use that structure … either of the ones I suggested would actually be much better for SEO purposes.
Also, which Lightbox Effect are you using under Gallery > Other Options > Lightbox Effects … and does its “Advanced Settings” have values in its text fields?

Im not sure about the permalinks. I think the original developer may have hard coded the navigation. If just changed it again to Month and name. Still no change though
Im using Shutter 2 at teh moment. Ive tried them all and there is no change when i change these or many other settings. The Advanced settings fields are all populated with calls to different files. Looks ok in there.
Any ideas?

Ive checked all paths, all ok, everytihng is there. But no lightbox, no slideshow, setting changes have no effect
could this class be the problems?

@barry_ – Do you still have the same issue if you temporarily switch to a default WordPress Twenty series theme?
I see your current theme is loading a very old version of jQeury and this test would eliminate the possibility of a conflict being created there.

Hi,
I have absolutely the same problem like barry_. The only difference is that shutter2 works, but none else. I tried all suggestions above, but none worked out. In fact switching to TwentyFourteen(I have just this default theme) solves the problem, but switching permanently to it is not an option. I had no problems with the NexGenn till now.

Yes, ichanged over to a Twenty series theme and the problems were solved!
Nice one 🙂 Now i just need to find out why! It seems that both themes were calling the same jquery version:

So im confused on that one.
What would you say is the solution?

@barry_ – If both themes are calling the same jQuery version then that would not likely be the cause of the issue if it is a jQuery item … I would suggest looking at other functionality in the theme that was causing the problems.
More often than not, if a theme calls a slider or Lightbox effect from its own files is when a conflict can occur … you could look at those items.
