# Problems after update 5.6

 * Hi guys,
    after updating to WP 5.6 my website is blank. Only homepage is available,
   but if you click on any post, the site goes blank. How to fix this asap?

 * It seems to be OK now.
 * For the record… when dealing with white screen issues: Errors like this are logged.
   Check the error log on your server. If you can’t find the log, please contact
   your host.
 * Meantime, enable wp_debug and wp_debug_log and after an error, look at wp-content/

 * You can also try this: Please attempt to disable all plugins, and use one of 
   the default (Twenty*) themes. If the problem goes away, enable them one by one
   to identify the source of your troubles.
 * If you cannot access wp-admin, there are other ways to [deactivate plugins](https://wordpress.org/support/article/faq-troubleshooting/#how-to-deactivate-all-plugins-when-not-able-to-access-the-administrative-menus).

 * Hi Nina,
 * You can activate the WordPress debug mode and check the blank pages to see if
   there are any errors which are being displayed on them. Depending upon the error,
   the issue source can be located.

 * Thanks guys!
    I asked my host to put a backup up, and now the site looks fine.
   Apparently there was an issue with the theme; the developers fixed it now and
   they’ve already send me an update. Fingers crossed because I haven’t logged in
   yet.
 * Anyway: thank you so much for the advice. If the screen goes white again, I know
   what to do. 🙂
