Problems after latest update
-
After updating to 3.4.9 i got a 403 forbidden error on this call “https://graph.facebook.com/v20.0/fbe_business/fbe_rollout_switches?access_token=xxxx….”
I tried disconnection and reconnecting the plugin, but now I just get this error: “Heads up! It looks like there was a problem with reconnecting your site to Facebook. Please click here to try again, or get in touch with our support team for assistance.”
I tried rolling back to 3.4.8 but that doesn’t help. I just can’t connect now…
What is going on?

Hi @kejserjorn ,
There is an issue with the Woo Portal, which is not allowing users to connect to their pages. We will let you know as soon as this has been dealt with.
Kind regards,
MarijaJust had to disable the plugin. It blocks wp-admin, just like everyone else.
Still not working with 3.4.10
Same error message. “Heads up! It looks like there was a problem with reconnecting your site to Facebook. Please click here to try again, or get in touch with our support team for assistance.”
Also if I try to view the app in business suite It just says “Something went wrong”
This doesn’t happen with my other website where I didn’t update to 3.4.9. That site is working just fine. Something definitely went wrong in the 3.4.9 update and it is not solved in 3.4.10

It seems to be working now.
Hi @kejserjorn – great to hear that everything is now okay.
If anyone else is still experiencing issues, we are still working on an update that will resolve things across the board.
Thank you for your patience in dealing with this issue.
Kind regards,
MarijaHi everyone,
You should be able to reconnect to your pages now. If you are still having issues, or need further support, please open a new thread on the forum.
Kind regards,
MarijaI still get the “Something went wrong” message in the Connected Apps tab in Business manager. I have the Facebook for Woocommerce plugin on 2 sites, and this only happens on the site where I updated to latest version. My other site that is still on 3.4.8 doesn’t have this issue. I tried reconnecting several times and it seems to connect fine. But this error I don’t understand
Hi @kejserjorn ,
Can you try temporarily disabling all caching plugins, clearing the cache, and then completely reinstall and re-connect the plugin?
Kind regards,
MarijaI tried your suggestions. Same problem persists. “Something went wrong” when clicking “Manage” in the “Woocommerce by Meta” Business App
Hi @kejserjorn ,
Can you update the plugin to the latest version? Beforehand, make sure to disable all cache plugins and addons and clear the cache.
If the issue persist please share your system status report, and any relevant entries from the debug.log using PrivateBin.
Kind regards,
MarijaThe plugin is already updated to latest version and reinstalled with cleared cache and no cache plugin enabled
Here is my system status report

Hi @kejserjorn ,
It appears the paste bin has expired, can you share it again? Please include any relevant entries from the debug.log as well.
Kind regards,
MarijaThere are no relevant entries in the debug log. Everything seems to be fine in Woocommerce. I just get that error in Business Manager when I click “Manage” in the “Woocommerce by Meta” app.
I don’t even know if it is actually a problem or just some kind of visual glitch. But I don’t get the error in Business Manager with my other Woocommerce shop.

Hi @kejserjorn ,
How was the plugin set up, did you use the BM, the plugin onboarding flow, or the WooCommerce manager tab?
If you used anything other than the Facebook for WooCommerce onboarding flow, it would be best to completely remove the installation, as well as the WooCommerce integration in the BM. Then, re-install the plugin from the “Plugins” page, and complete onboarding via the plugin’s flow.
Before doing so, please make sure that all cache plugins and browser extensions are disabled, and clear the cache. You can revert back to the original state after connecting the plugin to your page.
Kind regards,
MarijaThe plugin was set up using the onboarding flow. I tried both with the previous version and the latest version with the updated onboarding flow.
I just tried removing the integration in the BM and completely removing and reinstalling in Woocommerce (again). Did it in an Incognito window with cache plugin disabled.
Onboarded again with no problems but still get the “Something went wrong” message when trying to manage the Woocommerce by Meta app in BM
